Boro Draw Final Pre Season Fixture - Date: 1 Aug 2009

Boro drew their final pre season fixture 1-1 this afternoon.

Boro faced Millwall FC at the New Den with a strong starting line up, likely to be that to face Sheffield United on Friday.

Millwall opened the scoring when Gary Alexander latched onto a ball 12 yards from goal. His shot deflected in off David Wheater.

Boro made several changes, one of which Rhys Williams replacing center midfielder Didier Digard.

Williams leveled the score from 20 yards out. The Australian international shaped for goal and drove an unstoppable shot past Forde to pull Boro level with nine minutes to go.
