Boro Open Championship Season - Date: 29 Jun 2009

Middlesbrough FC will open the Championship season against Sheffield United on Friday August 7th.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports 1, with a kick off scheduled for 8pm.

Sheffield United's first game of last season was also shown on TV on a Friday night, against Birmingham City.
