Boro Target Digard Having Medical - Date: 25 Jun 2008

Didier Digard is reported to be in Middlesbrough having a medical and discussing personal terms.

Southgate earlier confirmed his interest in bringing the “new Patrick Vieira” to the Riverside.

Sky Sports reported that Digard has arrived in England to undergo a medical at Boro, but it seems the player may also be travelling to Newcastle and Portsmouth over a possible move.

It seems that Boro are at the front of the queue to sign the U21 France star.
