Cattermole Set To Join Wigan - Date: 21 Jul 2008Lee Cattermole is set to leave Boro this week to allow the transfer of James Harper to be completed.
Gareth Southgate has stated that hs must sell before he can bring more players in.
"Whatever happens will balance itself out in numbers from now on in."
"We've got a senior squad of 22 and if we lose somebody from that then they'll be replaced" he said.
Southgate is waiting on an improved offer from Wigan, expected to be £3.5 million, before completing the signing of James Harper from Reading FC.
No transfer activity is expected to be carrie out whilst away in Portugal, meaning the deals may be carried out on Friday.
