RE: Boyd to sign
Lets wait for an official announcement though I understand we are not offering anything to Killen so there might be some truth in this story!!

RE: Boyd to sign
Looks good but until we actually see the guy sign the contract I will not count the chickens.
Too many times over the past few years transfers have been scuppered whilst Lambie daudled with his pens.
Whats to stop Blackburn stepping in now that it has been made public and doing the dirty on Boro the same as many more before.

Sign him and "I WILL BELEIVE".

I'm a Boro armchair fan.

RE: Boyd to sign
Yeah, i'll wait till I see him stood next to Strachan with a Boro shirt on, posing for photographers.

If it is true, then great, it really signifies our intentions for the season ahead, but can Boyd and McDonald play alongside each other?

With forward options of: Boyd, McDonald, Miller, Lita, Franks, Williams, Mido and Emnes, you would expect a couple of these players at least to be shipped out. Probably Emnes and Mido

Boro 'til I die

RE: Boyd to sign
Like thepassenger, when I see him with a Boro shirt in his hands I'll believe it.

He would be a great signing for us though and would probably bring back some of the fans.

I hope it comes off!

RE: Boyd to sign
Lets hope this is true, BUT lets hope he can also ht a partnership with McDonald, otherwise we will be no further forward! Still think we need to strengthen the midfield and defence, and also a keeper, so could be a busy time!

RE: Boyd to sign
From a Rangers fan I know, posted this on a forum I am on last night,

Kris Boyd to Boro

‘I’m delighted to finally have my future sorted out. I’ve had a few offers to consider and it’s been a case of talking to my family about the positivies and negatives of each one.
‘Middlesbrough have always been very appealing. Gordon Strachan has big plans and made me feel wanted.
‘I first met him in January and he impressed me at that meeting. Everything has been agreed and I will go through my medical today or tomorrow.
‘I don’t envisage any problems and I’m looking forward to starting my Boro career.’
