Not been around the England set up since a U16 call up, Curtis is the younger brother of recently released Keiran (who looks like joining Spennymoor) and the son of an un-named poster on these forums. (despite which i will always be honest and if he deserves a negative comment i will offer it! :D)

Midfielder who has progressed quickly and finds himself a starter in the reserves and often the fulcrum of attacking plays. During pre season found the net very regularly and thats something hopefully he continues with.

Personal thoughts

Curtis is great with the ball at his feet, he has a unseen thing going on with Fowler and they seem to know where the other is for a pass at all times. Needs to concentrate more on his movement when Boro do not have possession of the ball. Can often find himself the wrong side of the attacking team and trying to catch up. For some reason boro fans who have seen him have him as a 'hands on hips' 'not trying to win it back' kinda player which can come across sometimes through his dissapointment in losing the ball. But often can be found right in front of the back 4 helping out and un-noticed.

Hopefully this season he kicks on in the reserves, adding goals to his good attacking play and assists, defensivley he will improve over time.
