RE: Coventry v Boro
I had to rush to post that last night before heading out! Pretty hung over now but here goes.. I'd stick with basically the same team and get a reaction from them. Really hope Coyne isn't dropped.

Coyne;
McMahon, Wheater, St Ledger, Grounds;
O'Neil, Arca, Williams, Johnson;
Ali, Emnes.

RE: Coventry v Boro
I'm not sure if I agree with you on this one Rob! I think changes are needed. Especially McMahon. I was a huge fan of his when he first broke into the first team before his injuries and I thought he was going to go on and become a superb right back. However since his injuries I have never been convinced. He has put on a bit of weight and is now horrendously slow and Jerome Thomas tore him apart last weekend. I would stick Williams back in his proper position. He had a good start to the season in the centre but in the last few matches he hasn't been great. I think he would be much better at right back. If Yeates starts today I will go nuts. He was absolutey shocking last week. He gave the ball away every time he got it. Hoyte for me should start right mid. He has pace and has always been good going forward. Its always been his defending that has been the problem but at right mid he wouldn't have to do as much of that. I really hope Digard is fit for todays game because Arca was awful last week. I think if we could get O'Neil and Digard fit and in the centre together we would probably have the best centre partnership in the league. Problem is they are both always injured. I would like to see Steele and Bennett start but there is no chance of it happening. This is the team I would start:

Steele;
Williams, Wheater, St Ledger, Bennett;
Hoyte, O'Neil, Digard, Johnson;
Aliadiere, Emnes.

Don't be too hopeful over Digard, I read an interview with Southgate in which he said Digard and Poggi won't be risked this week. Digard was only chanced last week because O'Neil got injured.

That means the Argentinian Peter Beardsley will be playing.

RE: Coventry v Boro
Totally agree about Tony Mac. He has been getting worse every week. Hoyte right midfield. I like it.

RE: Coventry v Boro
I wouldn't write off Tony Mac just yet, I agree that his form at the minute is questionable to say the least and I think dropping him for a few games whilst he gets his head together would do him some good, but I think he still shows signs that he could be a hell of a player.
I think we need to see some good man management skills to get the best out him.
SH#T, Just remembered, we don't have any man management skills, okay... write him off.
Official Team
!!!Jones!!!
Hoyte, Weater, St Ledger, Bennet
O'Niel, Williams, Arca, Johnson
Aliadiere, Emnes

RE: Coventry v Boro
I think he needs to go away, lose a few stone and get a bit quicker before he gets another game for us. Otherwise, everytime we play a team with a pacy left winger we will get destroyed! To be honest McMahon is starting to remind me of Andrew Davies!

RE: Coventry v Boro
Bennett starts... Interesting, but yet another indicator of our over reliance on kids. Would play either ali or emnes on the wing and get rid of arca or williams and play o neil there though...
