If it's on a pay as you play basis though like mentioned on SSN, then injury isn't that important, would be an excellent signing IF this is the case.

Woody played nearly 20 games last season for Stoke and sat on the bench for quite a few matches also. Dont forget that Pulis used him as a right back quite a few times.

IF Woody stays fit,keeps out of trouble off the field then I think its a masterstroke of a signing by Mowbray.

We all know the club is always trying to trim the wage bill so the contract that Woodgate has accepted is one that the club can afford even without some high earners leaving.
