Evening Gazette says that we are close to re-signing Jonathan Woodgate. What do you think? Worth the risk? I think he could do a decent job for us

RE: Woody
I think it will be a good signing. Of he stays fit he'll be a quality centre back at this level

RE: Woody
Not so sure on this one lads... I agree he WAS a quality centre back. About as injury prone as Hargreaves.

RE: Woody
Even at 32 with the injuries he's had he would still walk into any champo first 11 and most prem first 11s
Williams and woody at the back = brick wall |

RE: Woody
Woody played nearly 20 games last season for Stoke and sat on the bench for quite a few matches also. Dont forget that Pulis used him as a right back quite a few times.
IF Woody stays fit, keeps out of trouble off the field then I think its a masterstroke of a signing by Mowbray. We all know the club is always trying to trim the wage bill so the contract that Woodgate has accepted is one that the club can afford even without some high earners leaving. |

RE: Woody
i will play woody alongside with bikey, pushing Williams as CM
but does it imply the departure of Bailey imminent with having the combination of Haroun, Williams and Leadbitter in CM? |
