Scott Mcdonald
Hi does anyone know what the problem is with Skippy and Mogga?
I thought he had a good pre season and would of wanted to see him against Millwall.
i know he is small for a striker but he did score some goals last season.

RE: Scott Mcdonald
According to Mogga he's not had a good goal scoring record. Yet he's playing Miller...

RE: Scott Mcdonald
I totally agree about Miller, he hasnt done much, but maybe Mogga is thinking he can do what he did at WBA which he brought the best out of him.
But I still think he should of been on the bench, it would of gave us something different

RE: Scott Mcdonald
I'm just a bit bitter about it, because he's a good striker and a different option from what we have. We didn't even have a striker on the bench when we needed to change things.

Yes he certainly knows where the net is, with some decent wingers, i think he would be a better bet up front.

RE: Scott Mcdonald
Yeah, because when he doesnt have to drop deep so much, he's always in the right position in the box. His finishing and touch need work though.

RE: Scott Mcdonald
Yes I totally agree with that, but he can work on that if he gets game time, I think skippy Is the best of our forwards as emnes is not a proper striker and Jutkiewicz is a different type of forward, also main is inexperienced and a loan would do him some good.

RE: Scott Mcdonald
I'd agree on all that mate, except I think until Main finds a loan club, we should use him while he's here if we're not going to recall Skippy.

The dreaded McDonald is our saviour clan are off again.

An average player who is not as some suggest a prolific scorer who has a negative influence with his attitude on the field - not sure whats happening off the field but if the manager is letting him stew thats ok with me because at best he is a squad player and nothing more.
Miller is obviousley the new Hoyte this season. How many games has he played ??? Far too soon to judge and agin i for one will go along with the managers view until we have enough time to make a more informed decision.

Why are the pies always so hot ?
