TLF
Im bored at work and have been reading randm articles on wikipedia. So im reading about TLF and it states he lived in Levendale and Ingleby Barwick with his folks.

Any local people know what these areas are like to live in. According to wikipedia Barwick sounds a bit on the rough side.

Just curious

RE: TLF
Its not rough as such it is just bloody huge, the biggest housing estate in Europe.

Lots of big and modern houses mixed in with some apartments and dolls houses.

TLF kept hold of his house there for quite a few years after he first let Boro,May be he knew he would be coming back at some stage.

Ingelby B is not rough by any stretch, but it is a very odd place. As VB said it is reputedly the biggest housing estate in Europe. And that is pretty much all there is to it - house after house after house. Us locals call it toy town.
It has some very affluent areas though.
Ten years ago it was full of kids as all the young families moved out there. Now it is full of teenagers.

Levendale is a nice place. I think a few of the footballer love over there as it is a bit further out of town. And close to Yarm where a lot of the more affluent Teessiders like to drink (though it seems to be gettin rougher every year IMO)

have you seen her? have you heard? the way she plays there are no words...

RE: TLF
Yeah I live there now and it's not rough but full of bored teenagers with nowhere to go so theres a bit of trouble causing. Definitely not rough though, especially where tlf used to live. And as DS said he often played in the streets and on the grass with the local kids.

RE: TLF
I was surprised with Ingleby Barwick truth be know. We bought a new Dining Room table from an advert in the Gazzette from a family who lived there. We got there, and it was the poshest side of Ingleby Barwick I presume. The houses were huge.

I kept an eye out for Boro players when I was there, but with the season just being over I was presuming any that might have otherwise been there where probably on holiday. I suspect a couple of players lived on that road though.
