Goal Celebrations
I'm mystified by Juke's celebration for his two goals against Blackburn - the waving of the hand across his mouth / face. Looks like he is testing for his breath. So, two things:

1. Does anybody know what Juke's celebration means?
2. Any favourites from the past.

For what it is worth my favourite Boro celebrations are:

1. Ravs over the head number (used to do it myself in the days when I played);
2. Emersons jig;
3. Jan Agge Fjortoffs aeroplane (ditto Zemmama).

Also, as a kid used to like Mick Channon's windmill when he was at Southampton.

RE: Goal Celebrations
Jukes celebration was him covering his face. Its called you cant see me and I was also perplexed. Usually it is performed by out of favor players with a point to prove, I remember Kalou doing it last season.

My favourite past celebrations...
Ruud Van Nistelrooy. An opposing player laughed and cheered in his face when he missed a penalty. Later RVN scored and laughed and celebrated in HIS face.

Wesley. Borrowing a camera from a journalist and taking photos of the home fans.

Mario Balotelli. WHY ALWAYS ME.

Del Piero. THE TONGUE.

Arsenal wont spend more than 16 million pounds on 1 player this transfer window. Big Grin

RE: Goal Celebrations
Juke posted on Twitter that his mates told him to do that celebration. It is used by a wrestler i think.

RE: Goal Celebrations
On twitter he said it was something his friends asked to do and some of his friends posted a picture today doing it, calling it 'the flannel' no idea like though

I always liked Robbie Keane's myself, and that was my trademark whenever I scored a 25 yard screamer (I did it once) or a 2 yard scrappy goal (more often)

RE: Goal Celebrations
Fjortoff has read this thread.

Always loved his aeroplane celebration and Rav's shirt over the head.

RE: Goal Celebrations
Personally always hated the 'kiss the badge' celebration but quite liked Robbie Fowler's 'sniffing the white line' one when he scored against Everton, which Houllier came up with some wierd explanation ha ha

RE: Goal Celebrations
Fjortoft's was awesome, probably my favourite celebration of a Boro player, along with Rav's. Favourite overall is definitely Robbie Keane's, though.

RE: Goal Celebrations
and the worst celebration that i see, is the Kevin 'i am going dance like a chicken all the way to KFC' Nolan.

he always seems to find it very funny as well which is bizarre.

I used to really like the Raul celebration, just thought it was a nice gesture.
