Unusual career moves
was browsing ex boro players on tinternet last night and what they were doing since hanging up thier boots as i am a close friend of an ex player who currently is a cricket umpire in the semi pro leagues .
i got to reading about alan comfort wo as many will know unfortunately had a short but reasonably good career at ayresome park until injury forced early retirement . Apparently alan is now a man of the cloth having gone into the church as a career . just wondering if anyone knows any siimlar strange afterlives as it were .boro or any team really |
