the best 2 CBs and 3 CMs in your starting line-up
So far this season Mowbray has kept using 4-3-3 at matches. Who are the best 2 CBs and 3 CMs in your starting lineup?

for me i really like the capture of Bikey who has offered us the physicality and aerial power we has lacked since Huth left us. We seem we are better in handling set-piece with him alongside Woodgate. R Williams is very skillful in closing down the opposition but seems heading ball especially in set-piece is not one of his best strengths as he is a bit too slim and lightweight as a CB.

When it comes to the CM options for Mowbray to choose from, we have the likes of Thomson, Leadbitter, McEachran, Smallwood, Bailey and R Williams. Perhaps the injury to the latter 2 players has forced him to choose the combination of Thomson+Leadbitter+McEachran ahead of other players that we don't really know the behind scene. I believe McEachran is our most creative CM and he should definitely start. R Williams could offer us better mobility than any CMs (if you don't really regard Haroun as a CM option). I have my biased perference that the squad need one DM as a shield protecting our defence and I don't think Thomson could play this role very effectively.

My preference will be:

-Leadbitter-R Williams-McEachran--
--Bikey--Woodgate--

if not because of injury or so, then

-R Williams-Bailey-McEachran--
--Bikey--Woodgate--

if not, then

-Leadbitter-Bailey-McEachran--
--Bikey--Woodgate--

Exactly this, cept it'd be more Bailey and Thommo behind McEachran.

Totally agree with both. Willams-Woody at the back just oozes quality, calm and ball playing ability. A partnership worthy of Prem football.

I'm not massively fussed who starts so long as we stick with the 4-4-3 formation with players played somewhat naturally in their relative positions - something which we certainly haven't always seen this season by the way. But, favourites in order...

CBs; Woodgate > R.Williams > Bikey > Hines
CMs; Thomson > McEachran > Bailey > Leadbitter > Smallwood

Most of the rest of the team picks itself in my opinion, apart from the two offensive players that should support Jutkiewicz, which, for the record, in my eyes should be...

ATM/SS; Carayol > Emnes > Reach > L.Williams > Ledesma > Zemmama.

i agree we cant do better than woody and williams at this level ,theyd be the top centre backs anywhere outside the prem , but it does seem a waste having bikey on the bench the way hes playing
