Where is Steve Gibson? There is lots of talk about the recent attendances and the style of football being played. Huge pressure from the fans(including us) and he is nowhere to be found. As they say, the silence is deafening.

Thoughts?

Arsenal wont spend more than 16 million pounds on 1 player this transfer window. Big Grin

RE: Steve Gibson
Tbh I do not think we will hear from Gibson until there is a need for a vote of confidence in Mogga and that will not happen for a long time yet.

I guess he has distanced himself somewhat but at this time and over a period of time I would imagine that does not want to be seen as the saviour of the club anymore and now that the dice have been rolled the game will have to be played with what we have.

I am sure he will be worried about attendances so I would hope that behind the scenes he would be working with others to come up with new ideas.

He has never been a high profile Chairman in the past and I do not see that changing

I kinda don't know if you are joking or not. There was a great feeling early on in the season when we decided we had a squad able to challenge for top 2. I think we still will but there have been MANY boo boys. That and the failure to string a run of games together and the squad selection HAS put the team under pressure.

Not from me. I think we have done what we need to early on.

RE: Steve Gibson
What does any of that have to do with Gibson? No money in the world would reverse the luck that we've had with injury, and I think if we had our full strength squad we would be top of the table now.

Not about money. He needs to speak. Tell the fans to turn up to games, back the manager, maybe drop ticket prices a touch.

RE: Steve Gibson
Tell the fans to turn up to games?!? That's just stupid, have you ever heard a chairman TELL the fans to turn up? No.
If allowing Mowbray to sign more than 10 new players over the summer and spending £2 million on juke in January isn't backing him then I'm not sure what you want.
