RE: U21s vs Liverpool at the riverside tonight - 7pm
H/T 0-1
Well if anyone was going to score for Pool then it was going to be Morgan. Ripley must have thought he was at the Alamo all the first half it was him against Pool. Would like to see Halliday/Smallwood more involved in the second half and would also like to see them using their experience to fetch some of their teams mates into it more.Fowler looks half decent on the right not impressed with the way Boro seem to push them long balls forward expecting one little player to beat a very strong tall back line of Pools. Heres hoping they try and pass it through them in the second half,it can be done. By the way anyone watching this on the box feel a bit peeved at the commentry.I thought it was only the senior games that the commentators had their favs.Boro have played some good stuff out there tonight ok L/Pools have been more pressing but on the whole I reckon Boro deserve some applause. Heres hoping we give it to em the 2nd half. ![]() http://alpha1-copd-forum.proboards.com/index.cgi |

Anyone else just hear David Fairclough say he didn't think Mowbray was that good of a player?
No need to say that.

Sounds punch drunk to me.
![]() ![]() Fook in hell that was a cracking shot from Fowler and Boro now starting to apply some pressure cos Pool are running out of steam. Clear penalty turned down for Boro as Pool are panicking at the back. Not bad from the kids. I found it more entertaining than most of the first team games..
