A good opportunity for us to increase our goal difference. Having said that they'll probably play out of their skins and keep the score to a respectable level.

Off to see this one, will be my first competitive game at new Wembley so rather excited. I was there for the Ghana friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing so looking forward to it. Hoping we put out a strong team rather than rotate for this one but that's just from a purely selfish point of view, also hope jinky gets some game time as I missed seeing him play for Boro by 4 days Sad

I'm actually dead excited about this one. Should (and probably will) score a boatload (at least 5/6). True, I'd consider myself an optimist, but even the pessimists out there with any sense should struggle to disagree. San Marino are THAT bad.

You've just contradicted yourself. How can you be not interested in this fixture yet be a big fan of international football and why even bother to come on a thread to express your disinterest?
Just cause you weren't around in 66 you seem to think it wasn't really that important and not too big a deal compared to the Olympics.

:/ is a forum not just a place to discuss opinions? I never said it wasn't a big deal, but in my opinion winning a world cup in dart 2014 wouldn't be no bigger deal than our success at the Olympics. I take on board that I wasn't there for the 66 world cup and that its really a matter of how much you value each sport, but ill happily continue the debate in the other thread.

Back on track, my opinion is that I can't get excited for the game, mostly because we know how its going to play out and we know all the first teamers will be rested or subbed early, no one will bust a gut, and although it will be nice to see the team gelling, the opposition aren't of enough quality to provide an interesting game.

I have an interest in this match as I want to see what team he puts out. Despite the fact we should score plenty of goals I hope he plays a team to show intent like not playing Milner on the right and playing cleverly in a more natural position

I love England. I love international football. I can't wait for this game.

They will no doubt play out of their skin but we should wipe the floor with them.
I hope he plays Rooney in midfield behind a front 2. Preferably Defoe and Wellbeck.

I also hope Andy Carroll falls down a hole (obviously it would have to be a big hole) and never plays for England ever again. Ever.

We have for rid of one overrated scumbag, it would be nice to clear them all out of the team.
