Well first of all hope all those who went to the game got home safely.
Well done on getting the 3 points, thought we should have got a point but yoiu defended well in the second half.First half i thought you were the better team but we took control in the second half although you still posed a threat when you have a player like Emnes so was not too sad when he was taken off.I thought you had a bit more possession than the bbc stats say.

Last season i thought you were the best team i had seen at the Amex and this season i still think the same,at least you attacked us unlike other sides who have been to the Amex and have just shut up shop.

Thought your 1,200 fans may a fair bit of noise, whereas we were very quiet. Hope all those who went to the game enjoyed the Amex.

Good luck for the rest of season i think you could make the playoffs at least,for us i think another season in the Championship then push on from there.

Cheers The Amex for coming back on here and posting your thoughts on the game.I think most Boro fans think we rode our luck and were very lucky to get the 3 points.

I must say that I think you have a great manager in Poyet,I loved him as a player and he is making his mark as a quality boss.

Cheers Amex. Your thoughts pretty much echo one of our lot who was at the game.

We obviously had a bit of luck with the deflected goal, but it seems your lads' radars were a bit off with all the off-target shots. Still, you gave us quite a few scares before the final whistle.

With the players you have and a manager like Poyet I'm sure you'll be back on form sooner rather than later. If you don't make the play-offs this season, I can't imagine you'll have to wait too long. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Got to question Paul Walsh's motives then given his reports. He made it sound like a totally one sided affair and we were unbelievably lucky to win.

Second half we were very lucky, first half we were pretty comfortable, Brighton lacked a cutting edge I'd say.

But teams always think they are lucky when the keeper makes some great saves but not if it was a defender making the tackles. We were lucky to get the goal but that was the only luck i saw

Yeah, agreed, but imagine if Brighton could actually shoot on target - one would of crept in surely!

Steele was absolutely fantastic yesterday it has to be said.

All there shots were from outside the area but still to get non on target was very poor. Smith had that close range shot first half and anything below head height would have scored but it was over head height and steele made a fantastic save

We have this problem when John Salako reports on our games for ssn or Mark Bright on 5 live, both ex Palarse players.

Listened to 1 game on 5 live sports extra without Bright on it and the commentary was saying that Brighton dominating the game also backed up by co host at the time both said Brighton playing well and what a good side they were, but on ssn Salako said we were poor.
