Kevin Thomson could be missing for a couple of weeks after suffering a calf strain in the warm-up to the Brighton game.

I'm sorry. But enough is enough. When does this guys contract expire? Surely he is a 'luxury'? we can't afford.

Would you say the same about Williams? I doubt it. The club can't set double standards or the players will become discouraged.

Arsenal wont spend more than 16 million pounds on 1 player this transfer window. Big Grin

Double standards? It seems to me that KT is permanently on the side line due to injury. And I would want and expect the club to offload ANY player that does not provide value for money!

Previously I have banged on about this before along with the likes of Zemmama but hey what can we do and I no longer see the point of getting upset and frustrated about it!

We have what we have and until contracts expire we simply will have to accept it because no-one will take an injury proned player off our hands!

RE: Kevin Thomson
To be fair, has Thomson not just like doubled his all time appearences for us? this is just a small injury and he'll be back in a week or two.

RE: Kevin Thomson
The biggest difference between Williams and Thomson is Rhys has consistently performed for us, can't say that about KT.

I agree that enough is enough, especially with the coin he is taking from the club!

RE: Kevin Thomson
Theres no point saying enough is enough, I hate hearing that.

WE gave him the long contract. WE gave him the high wages. WE knew about his injury record. There is NO outside interest. We shot ourselves in the foot.

Enough is at the end of his contract, get used to it.

How long do you think he will stay injury free after this one? Because I certainly doubt it'll be for very long ...

RE: Kevin Thomson
When I saw the thread title I knew straight away what had happened. In racing, we talk about "getting to the bottom" of a horse when a particularly gruelling race breaks its competitive spirit and ruins it as an athlete. I think that the fractured shin got to the bottom of KT.
