RE: Freedman leaves palace
to be fair palace are punching above their weight and bolton are under performing, you don't know the financial backing situation on either club and if he had been told certainplayers would be sold etc. it seems a good move when you take a step back and look at the bigger picture. like when lambert left colchester to go to norwich even though they had just beaten the canaries 5-1
scouting the masses looking for the lasses

RE: Freedman leaves palace
Been out for a while but will suggest Curbishley for Palace?

RE: Freedman leaves palace
Good luck to Dougie Freedman , I think he has done well considering the constraints and circumstances he has had to work under.
Ever thought that Southgate might replace him? |

RE: Freedman leaves palace
I think DS that GGG has hit the nail on the head there we don't really know what is happening in the backroom to have made Freedman leave.
But as for Curbs going there I really think that would be a step in the wrong direction for him. He deserves much better. ![]() http://alpha1-copd-forum.proboards.com/index.cgi |

RE: Freedman leaves palace
You maybe correct MM but as he has been out of the loop for such a long time and being based where he is then I would imagine that this club would be ideal for him and lets face it with so many possible candidates around beggars can not be choosers. Maybe Owen Coyle for Palace then? As for Southgate a good call VB but I think he likes where he is now and the stress of Management is not so appealing to him anymore

RE: Freedman leaves palace
Palace will go into free fall now. Zaha will be off in January. Not exactly good timing for their match tonight either. Unless he's staying on for the game.

RE: Freedman leaves palace
The ex Boro connections of Lennie Lawrence and Curtis Flemming are in charge for their game tonight.

It would be a good job for Coyle to take.
