"Credible Boro"
This type of thread has not been done for a while and though it can be a bit of fun I think there are some serious aspects about it especially when it concerns if Boro are credible this season in maintaining momentum instead of simply falling away from a good start so far and lets face it some good plaudits along the way!

Ok the Sunderland game has not taken place yet but if Manager of the Month awards are simply based on league results then it will be a toss up between us and Cardiff for October and hand on heart I really hope that it goes to the "blues" who are now "the reds"

But as the thread says are we now credible and if not quite which of the following games stand out for you to change your mind and as other previous similar threads realistically how many points do you see us collecting along the way.

Charlton........Away
Forest...........Away
Wednesday.....Home
Cardiff...........Away
Bristol City......Home

Based on last season the two stand out games for Boro to be really measured is Forest and Cardiff because zero away points last term and Forest always being a bogey team.

Now you know why I do not want Mogga to be MOM as there are some real bannana skin games coming up!

RE: "Credible Boro"
I'm going to be optimistic and say we'll win 3 (Charlton, Wed, Bristol), draw at Cardiff and lose at Forest. I don't really have anything to base those on except my gut instinct. Cardiff could be open so a 2-2 perhaps. Forest as you say DS are a boggy team so I don't expect anything, especially away. We'll also be missing Miller, and if Emnes is still out we'll have problems on the striker front.

RE: "Credible Boro"
Can assume nothing in this game. Being a football fan has taught me that much at least. The moment you think the points are in the bag is the moment you drop em.

That said what's the harm in a little fun?Big Grin

Charlton........Away-1pt
Forest...........Away-3pts
Wednesday.....Home-3pts
Cardiff...........Away-0pts
Bristol City......Home3pts

Total. 10pts.

Arsenal wont spend more than 16 million pounds on 1 player this transfer window. Big Grin

RE: "Credible Boro"
Come on guys the "fun" aspect of gussing the points gained is easy enough how about some comments on the jist of the thread regarding which games we can really be measured upon??
