Steele to Liverpool?
Just found this article in The Mail saying Liverpool could be after Steele in January! I hope TM issues a hands off warning, Jason is just starting to come good!

£2 million? yeah right. If Butland is worth £10 million then Steele isn't far off him with how good he has been this season. To put homegrown GK prices it into perspective Brad Jones cost them £2.3 million.......

Think Mogga knows better then to offload Steele. He's been arguably our best and most consistent player this season. Certainly no need to believe the source though. And £2m would be an insult anyway.

The idea of him signing to be the number 3 keeper there is ridiculous too - wouldn't be surprised to see clubs after Steele in January - but he wants to be pushing for first choice goalie wherever he is, here or elsewhere, to keep his development going.

I could see Middlesbrough accepting a 3-4 mil offer but I don't think Steele would want to leave at the moment and ultimately its up to him.
Though would liverpoor table a 3-4 mil offer? I doubt it. If they think 5 mil is too much for Dempsey then to them Steele would not be valued that highly, hence the low figure in the rumor. Oh yeah and Ian Ayre is a retard. That could be a potential problem too. Arsenal wont spend more than 16 million pounds on 1 player this transfer window.
