Boro V Sunderland (A) (Cup) Huntsboro
Hi,
I'm a Sunderland fan who runs a Sunderland forum, on here to get Boro fans views on Tuesdays cup game. Like on this forum ours is a one club forum, mainly due to visitors who seem unable to debate with other fans, abuse is their first option. The sad bit of that is we miss the banter and views of other fans so I visit sites like this to gather those views. Just for info my site is http://www.sunderlandmad.com, check it out and you will see that like you, we try to be reasonable. So, what do you expect on Tuesday and before you ask, no I dont agree with the ticket allocation. Are you caught in that cup or promotion trap or is it go all out for both? |

RE: Hello, bear with me
Hi mate..welcome to the best forum in the world
![]() might speak for alot here when i say as much as we would love to get to the next round of the cup and even more so get one over you lot, the league should be our real focus. i personally think we were the better side over the 2 legs last year and possibly deserved better but that is footbal and sunderland went through. if i am honest, i fully expect a confortable mackem win here and as much as the initial disapointment will hurt, i will find confort in the fact that our league position remains very positive. Boro til' I die |

RE: Hello, bear with me
Hey Cypruss.
Going by last season we took you lot on a mad kick about and with just our youngsters, so by that i'd say we have the composure to do well against you, but then again we have too many quality first team injuries so it's going to be difficult. Just picking up on a good form so hopefully we can take that in and adept well but i don't see us walking away with a win. 2-1 to the Mackems

RE: Hello, bear with me
Fully expecting us to win, as i said in the bolton thread, sunderland are not playing well at all barely getting shots on target and had it not been for fletchers goals, they would be sitting in the relegation zone with the mackems calling for o'neills head.

RE: Hello, bear with me
With a full team id really fancy our chances but we only have 2forwards fit so do we risk them with big league games to come. I think hell start bailey so him and cattermole will be worth the entrance fee alone. Well for the 10 mins there on the pitch. Tough one to call. Mogga has a habit of picking strong teams even in cup games. Do you think oneil will put out your first 11

But they DO have Fletcher, Also not looking that good (still 14th) in the prem > looking quite decent in the championship. Plus they are at home. Imo a draw would be a very good result. Also put your house on jinky to score. |

RE: Hello, bear with me
suppose i'll add my bit.
feeling pretty confident on this one, although we only have two strikers fit one of them is firing atm, and i feel a front two of miller and mcdonald will tear them up, think mcdonalds intelligence and movement and millers pace will be too much for o'shea and his zimmercrew, think thats where they'll struggle, whereas on the other hand i can see woodgate having fletcher in his pocket all match, they won't win much in the air offensively either, both the beast and woody are good there, as are parns and friend. The midfield battle will be key No longer in bishop |
