Hines injured?
Hines went off injured against Sunderland. Another injury to an already depleted squad? Does anyone know how serious it is?

RE: Hines injured?
i dont think hoyte could work as LB, neither does Parnaby
hoyte, Bikey, Friend and Reach could be our back 4 |

Interesting thought and if Mogga feels as if it is in the BEST interests of the club then he should do so...however I think McManus will be a permanant signing for Bristol in the January period so a recall does seem unlikely The forum members "Friend" |

He also played a full season at sunderland at left back (although they got relegated). Powlay has told us many times that Reach is definitely not a left back. Having seen him play this season, I'd say he's definitely a player for the final third of the pitch and not very defensive at all so I don't think he would be suited to that position unless it was an absolute emergency. What about Andy Halliday? He's played left back in pre-season and apparently done well. Let's hope Hines' injury isn't too bad because we really need all the fit defenders we can get at the moment. |

RE: Hines injured?
and with burgess/dolan/brobbel in the squad yesterday maybe he sees them as the cover?
I'm sure powlay will correct me but I think brobbel is a left back, so play him there with friend being CB cover for woody when he's being rested. Or burgess a straight replacement at CB against lesser teams. Sorry sir Brobbel is a forward player usually second striker but occasionally winger. Dolan is a defensive midfielder and Burgess a football playing defender. It is a while since Reach played left back, Halliday played there in preseason and I beleive that Gibson is playing there for Tranmere |

RE: Hines injured?
What about getting Bates signed on a short term deal. He's back in full training isn't he?
