boroinbishop 65
V Welcome to the first ever (as far as i know) hybrid match day thread, both me and Jamesp have contributed to this thread. Venue: The Riverside Stadium Date:Tuesday 11th March Time: 7.45pm Referee: Not Andy D'urso (I think) Odds (via Paddy Power) Middlesbrough - 11/8 Draw - 23/10 Nottingham Forest - 15/8 First scorer; Lee Tomlin - 6/1 Kei Kamara - 6/1 Danny Graham - 6/1 Albert Adomah - 7/1 Jamie Patterson - 13/2 Simon Cox - 13/2 Darius Henderson - 13/2 Jamie Mackie - 8/1 The history of the opponents: Nottinghamians Soul depressing singer Jake Bugg is a famous son of Nottingham How could we mention Nottingham and not mention that guy (Disclaimer: that might not actually be Robin Hood and DEFINITELY isn't me in my spare time  ) This next guy isn't famous, but i believe he should be: [video=youtube]http://youtube/eMZaTkXkD3Y View from the other side; Who is Boros biggest threat? -Danny Graham. Chalobah is bound to have a good game -Danny Graham will no doubt score & I suspect Chalobah & Leadbitter to do well against us if they play for obvious reasons. -Anybody capable of running round and closing down. -I'd say Adomah but he didn't play yesterday, I'm guessing he's injured. Leadbitter will run the midfield against us. -That Carayol lad. Always looks dangerous in the clips I see of him. Forest will let him run at us as well, so he'll be good. Albert Adomah: Who is Forests main threat? -Paterson. Abdoun if he decides to turn up. Also Majewski if we decide to play it on the floor. Unlikely though. -Billy Davies - not to you though -Paterson providing we let him run at defenders -Jamie Patterson is our only real threat at the minute with so many of our midfield & back four out injured we've been almost relying entirely on him -Patterson Score predictions? 1-1 0-0 0-0 is about as optomistic I dare be at the moment. 5-0 Boro Boro to sneak it 1-0 or 2-1 Now is the time to beat us 3-0 Boro 0-0, if we're lucky. (they sound about as optimistic as we do :P ) Where will forest finish this season -Should be in the playoffs. Probably, with our tactics, will be 7th. -Fingers crossed the Championship -8th -7th 6th-8th The club are giving the fans free travel for the game too so they should bring a decent following hopefully Boroinbishop's Predicted Team: Questions: Will we ever score again? Can we keep another clean sheet at home? Rock, Paper or scissors? Also Jamesp wanted to add this one the end but there was over the Max. amount of images on it so here it is: Danny Graham:
Prowler 197
I only play Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock.
jamesp 125
Should be a new forum rule that everyone has to show their predicted team through footy manager :D http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=40329 here is the forest thread
Brunners 7,952
Interesting usage of the double CM(D) pairing there BiB. Would have thought they sat back far to much to be an effective combination.
boroinbishop 65
http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=40329 here is the forest thread Such a good OP on there lol, they shouldn't have to to the effort :P And Brunners, i'm letting the front 4 do the attacking work, the other two can just sit and keep play ticking over
Brunners 7,952
Don't you find that there is to large a disconnect between your CMs and your AMs? CM(D) play really deep. Like, almost DM deep at times. Also reading that Forest thread, they really are negative. They sound exactly like we've sounded lately.
Uwe 3,543
They are negative, but very funny with it. Much funnier than that Ipswich lot
boroinbishop 65
They are negative, but very funny with it. Much funnier than that Ipswich lot Yeah, they were awful, i went on their boards being nice and friendly and all they did was look to provoke me, was a terrible forum layout too
LeeMiller 5
I'm from Nottingham. And until a couple of seasons ago had never seen us beat them. Bit of a derby game for me, hope we wallop them
ManBearPig 1,833
My housemate is a forest fan, for the sake of bragging rights in this house alone...we need a win!
Uwe 3,543
Keep the same team as Saturday with the exception of Adomah in for Ledesma. Few interesting stats Dimi has 100% clean sheet record in the league games he's started this season Boro have won 100% of games that Danny Graham has scored in this season. Steele has never seen defeat from the bench this season. Boro have scored an average of 2 goals per game since Higgy's appointment of assistant coach. Muzzy has improved 200% since being dropped then brought back. (Only fair to assume the same will happen to Adomah) Can't see past a Boro victory here :d:d:d:d
Block53 12
Hopefully the confidence gained from breaking our goal drought can push us on for a strong finish to the season now. I'd agree with bringing Albert back into the team, I'm not going to pretend to be the most analytical football supporter but for me you've got to play your best players. Hopefully the public telling off will spur Albert on in the same way it has Muzzy.
p_mards 1,363
Carayol had an injury when he came off on Saturday so he might not be available v Forrest unfortunately. Without him or Adomah on either wing then we surely put in a limp performance like we did v Leeds with Kamara and Main on the wings.
Brunners 7,952
In fairness he did say after the game he should be fine for Tuesday.
Will 2,958
Carayol had an injury when he came off on Saturday so he might not be available v Forrest unfortunately. Without him or Adomah on either wing then we surely put in a limp performance like we did v Leeds with Kamara and Main on the wings. It was his hip flexor and he expected to be fine for Tuesday, fingers crossed he is.
