Speculation and where we are!!

With the continual speculation concerning players coming in and out of the club this has made me think about where we really are as a club and what the honest aspirations of fellow forum members are.

From my own stand point I firmly believe that if current results are anything to go by those who manage will have the excuse for a while of saying it takes time to bed in new players and that picking up points will be hard to achieve (hopefully wrong about that).

There is no doubt that we are still on a downward spiral and we will not achieve a play off place purely as a lot of other teams in and around us seem so much more settled and lets face it getting into a winning habit always seems difficult for us.

I therefore see this season as the transition and adjusting to life outside the premiership within the CCC and hopefully a concentrated effort next season to get to the play offs. I still think further disruption will follow for a while.

Sorry I do not agree.Things are tricky I know,but let GS2 get a few more players,added to the Bhoys he's just got & see how they perform before you start the doom & gloom.

I think we will get into the swing of things though I have a feeling it may come to late to hit the playoffs. I'm gearing up for another season in the CCC before we see a return to the PL, if we can manage that. Just my opinion though.

I remember someone saying that when GS1 was installed by the CBs, over 3 seasons ago and we're still in transsion.

Respect your words Linthorpian thats why I asked for forum members honest thoughts onn the matter. I just think there are too many teams above us who are settled and i do not see us catching up with Forest and the likes not this season

LS, do you have a big problem with GS2, I don't mean any offense, but you beginning to sound like BLegend, or myself with Ginson and Lamb.
Surely the guy wasn't expected to juststart and endless string of wins, he hardly took on a good team did he?

I honestly think GS2 is the right man for the job and I recon we will soon start to climb the table.
