I for one dont mind admitting that I have the buzz and excitement coming back to me somewhat and am looking forward to the next few games with a bit more confidence.

Not going to make disparaging comments about new signings just want to get behind them because they are OUR team,

Hey I have supported this team for far too long so the occassional buzz is good for the heart and soul...probably will not last too long but not going to be pessamistic YET

Look, it might not be the changes we all wanted, but it couldn't be as we all wanted different things anyway.

It's change alright though, and pretty substantial changes at that. we have no idea what's going to happen but I'm going to get behind my team, and not on top of them, as much as I can as they are obviously trying to do something.

I am also 'buzzing' can't wait for tomorrow to see what happens with the new team. Even think GS2 has looked more relaxed over the week and we have even been the first NE team to be mentioned on local news.

Im with you Downsouth, Im glad to see Strachan has been allowed to bring in the players that he wanted and we know that the majority of them want to play for him which cannot be a bad thing.
Im not expecting pretty football but I do want to see 11 players that are committed for the full 90 minutes and fight to get us out of this league.I think our younger players will learn a lot from Robson,Miller,Flood etc about having the will to win and fight until the end.

your the kind of supporter we need right now downsmouth,im with you its hopefully we are entering happier times for our club.and it was nice that a bit of the money from the johnson sale went into the team.
on another note...talking about cashflow,did anyone see the sullivan(west ham chairman)interview on hardtalk on the bbc?i thought it was fasinating.he was talking about what a club has to do when its short of money,relegation and club debt.
please if you have 30mins spare i think its on bbci on under hardtalk.id give a link but dont know how because computers are still alien to me!!
it made me feel differently about our clubs money situation and what it must of been like for gibson.check it out.
