Ipswich Town Vs Boro.
New signings Scott McDonald, Lee Miller and Kyle Naughton go straight into the Middlesbrough squad for the trip to Ipswich in a comprehensive overhaul.

Strikers David Healy and Daryl Murphy are both hoping to make their debuts for Ipswich when Middlesbrough visit Portman Road. Manager Roy Keane raided former club Sunderland to sign the the pair on loan on transfer deadline day. Defender Alex Bruce was surprisingly allowed to join Leicester on loan, while striker Tamas Priskin moved to QPR. Captain Jon Walters continues to be ruled out by a hamstring injury and is joined on the sidelines by goalkeepers Richard Wright and Brian Murphy. Winger Luciano Civelli will not be available until next season.

New signings McDonald, Miller and Naughton go straight into the Middlesbrough squad for the trip to Ipswich. The trio will join transfer-window arrivals Chris Killen, Willo Flood and Stephen McManus, although Barry Robson is suspended.
Chris Riggott, Emanuel Pogatetz (both hamstring), Jeremie Aliadiere (ankle) and Rhys Williams (pelvic injury) are all still out, while Seb Hines (ankle and knee ligament) and Matthew Bates (cruciate ligament) remain on the long-term casualty list.

RE: Ipswich Town Vs Boro.
We never seem to do well at Portman Road, add to that a number of new players trying to fit into the team... I'll go for a 1-0 Ipswich win

Think we'll bounce back with a 2-0 win at home to Barnsley though

Boro 'til I die

Well things are going to have to change fast around the Riverside then are'nt they.
With the skunks setting the fast pace beating Cardiff 5-1 teams that are behind are going to have to start winning every game begining tomorrow.

1-3 to the Boro no excuses and certainly no moans and groans about settling in new players.

RE: Ipswich Town Vs Boro.
Cant really see anything other than another defeat or at the very best a draw. We really need Bennett to play if not at left back then left midfield. I think Strachan should give him a go in Johnson's role because we need someone to provide a decent ball into the danger area. We have no wide men at all now that Yeates and Johnson have gone. We are struggling for midfield players because of injuries and bans.

I suppose come full time today people will be making the same excuses in that the new players need time to bed in. This excuse wont wash with me because most of the new players have played together anyway.

We need action, not excuses so everyone has to hit the ground running starting from today. Its about time we used the buzz and excitment having new guys in the dressing room to our advantage. I really hope that by the time the final whistle blows I am eating those words.

RE: Ipswich Town Vs Boro.
Well I will stick to my Buzz thread and say a clean sheet with a one goal scored by us so 1-0 to Boro. Agree with comments regarding Portman Road but it is the team we play and not the ground!!

Now lets see if I read your mail properly here.
You want others to be more posative and build on the new arrivals experience.
Yet you preach inposativity in the first line of your mail. Huh
FFS Legend, will you make up your mind.
You either want us to get whooped or you want us to win which is it.Big Grin
I suppose you will be at the game today or listening to it on the radio.
Please ffs shout the Boro on don't just sit there saying "I told you so."

I think we will sneak a 1-0.

I recon the players will hit the ground running. For once, I am actually excited about a game!
