Is Karen Brady talking about Sir Gibson?

Is Karen Brady talking about Sir Gibson?
Reading Karen Brady's diary in the wonderful Sun newspaper and I was wondering whether she was talking about Steve Gibson with this comment:

Thursday, February 4

YOU might have thought that with HM Revenue and Customs creditors at the door, it couldn't be worse for one particular club owner.

But it can, in the avenging form of his estranged wife. This well-known chairman, exiled in the Channel Isles with his mistress of many years, is being sued for half of everything by his wife - and her interpretation of the club's multi-million debt is intriguing. This, she says, is his personally and she ought, therefore, to be owed the same sum from his other assets.

She might be,but..any credable piece of journarlism gets blown out of the water when in the next paragraph she writes.
Meanwhile, I've decided I like Toni Terry. She's pictured today on a Dubai beach in a zebra-stripe pattern bikini. Better watch out Johnny Boy, a lady with that kind of pizazz might come looking for half of what you've got, too.
Oh dear!!!think her draft copy was written in crayola.

RE: Is Karen Brady talking about Sir Gibson?
Good post VB and an interesting read.
I do feel that she is talking about Gibbo.

Although the column on Mido got my goat has usual reading about the slob that screwed Boro after so many of us were ready to give him chance after chance.
Boro were totally screwed over by the Egypian pair Mido/Shawky so you will understand if EVER I read anything about Boro in the future signing any player from that frigging country I will scream. In fact any player coming from the eastern side of the world we should give wide berths to because they are people that have no value of life and honesty.

Then the piece about Ashley another good article about the conman of the Northeast,he has a habit of making Steve Gibson look like an angel.

Like I said VB great read and I will go out of my way in future to read her column.
Are you her manager or publicist by the way.
Nice piece of PR work.Big GrinBig Grin

I'm a Boro armchair fan.

Cheers Sarge .... She does write some interesting snippets from time to time and doesnt hold back in what she thinks.

The Mido bit makes interesting reading,Anthony Vickers take on the Mido deal is West Ham have taken over the contract/agreement that Zamalek had in place with Boro and would lead you to believe that they were only paying £1k a week of Mido's wages.Barry Silkman was interviewed on Sky and he said that that agreement was torn up and a new one was put in place with the Hammers. At least we should be saving a few bob every week on the fat controllers wages now that he is only on a pittance at Upton Park Smile

I dont think Karen Brady needs me as her PR advisor Smile

A bit worrying though as it possibly means that the accounts of Boro will be scrutinised again and what can of worms will that open?

Downsouth I think the quicker they look at the books the better it will be for the MFC, oneway or t'other.
I also believe personally the sooner that this divorce is sorted the better for all concerned.
Its quite obvious to me that MFC's transfer dealings maybe suffering because of this, and the future of the club is being put on a very rocky foundation.

Did I read it right his missus does'nt want any of the debt of the company MFC but wants 50% of all is assets.Big GrinBig Grin

Thats women for yer,you just can't trust em can yer.Angel

RE: Is Karen Brady talking about Sir Gibson?
well if we take the same line on Gibson as the press and the England team coach did witn Terry, it proves that for a few seasons now, Gibson is unfit to run MFC. Maybe Mrs Gibson will run her half much betterBig Grin

I think maybe he should have kept it zipped up and he wouldn't be in this predicament. A cautionary tale to ensure everybody makes sure they pick the right one when finding a partner.

Well Anthony Vickers was wrong and I was correct in what I said.Read Mido's interview with the Screws of the World (John Terrys favourite paper). He has confirmed that he is only earning £1k a week and has taken a drop of £47k per week to join West Ham.

RE: Is Karen Brady talking about Sir Gibson?
"Mido insists he turned down three far more lucrative offers and snubbed a whopping £400,000 signing-on fee at another club before making his loan move from Championship side Middlesbrough in the January transfer window. "

Hmmm....
