LOAN WINDOW
I'm confused, when does the loan window actually open? Is it sometime this week and when does it close?
Seems to be lots of talk about Brian Hughes of Hull, he's 33 years old, are we trying to go from a youth team to Dad's Army?

RE: LOAN WINDOW
I think this is agents/media starting rumours to try and instigate a deal, we've been linked with him since last summer!

RE: LOAN WINDOW
Apparently a few clubs have shown interest in him including Cardiff but he is keen to stay North.Im with you Aid that I think its his agent trying to orchestrate a move to Boro as he has even said that he will accept less than the £15k a week he was on at Hull (And they wonder why they are losing money).

RE: LOAN WINDOW
Walsall have apparently been wanting to sign Bryan Hughes but interest from Championship clubs is reported to have scuppered their chances of brokering a deal. I would be a tad disappointed if he came here, as Hughes is an ageing midfielder who has not player regular football for a while now. We should not be looking at has-beens, rather finding players for the future.

RE: LOAN WINDOW
We have not mentioned current players going out on loan VB do you have any snippets at all? as Taylor and Lita have been previously mentioned though tbh I would like to see a really hungry Lita remain with a point to prove!!!

RE: LOAN WINDOW
Not too much happening at the moment due to all the injuries that we currently have. There will be some going out on loan but not until we get either some players fit or a couple of new signings coming in.
I heard this morning that there should be some movement late next week on a loan signing.Im trying to get a name or 2 of who he is looking at. |

RE: LOAN WINDOW
Thanks VB and the timing is interesting though the question of whether loan players can indeed play in the play offs remains to be answered???

RE: LOAN WINDOW
Yes it is interesting timing. Maybe the club have done some research with 18th Feb being the key date.

RE: LOAN WINDOW
With the fact that Taylor was no where to be seen this may herald the fact that he will be going out on loan and I can also see Emnes and Ali (though rumour has it he is not happy about this and wants to play for a new contract)
